The third outing of Housefull franchise has opened to a good start despite mixed reviews from the critics. The film has collected a whopping amount of Rs 15.21 Cr on its first day.

Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to reveal the first-day box office collection of Housefull 3.

Housefull 3 Review 

Housefull 3 is now the second highest grosser of 2016. It has been surpassed only by Shah Rukh Khan's Fan, which garnered Rs 19.20 crore on its opening day.

The comedy film has been well received by both domestic and international audience.

Directed by Sajid-Farhad, lyricist-turned-filmmakers, the film has an ensemble cast consisting Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Lisa Haydon, and Nargis Fakhri.


With this pace at the box office, the film might turn out to be the hat-trick hit of Housefull franchise.
