LG K10 – Latest Mid-Range Competitor from LG

Latest Mid-Range Competitor from LG - LG K10

After making some high-end launches in recent months with phones like the LG V10, the South Korean mobile phone giant has once again shifted focus back to the volume segment with the new LG K10.
The device is expected to be available in the first quarter of the year after it was recently announced by the company.

LG K10 Specification

LG K10 Display
The LG K10 has the entire necessary arsenal to take on phones like the Moto G third-generation, which has been a huge success. Features like the 5.3-inch display are bound to do well in this segment. More importantly, LG has provided the phone with a 720p resolution to go along with the IPS panels.

LG K10 Processor
It is, however, disappointing to know that the LG K10 will come with the Android 5.1 operating system instead of the latest marshmallow OS from Google. It is bound to receive this update shortly, but the phone has all the capabilities to support this operating system out of the box. The octa-core processor with a clock speed of 1.14 GHz is found on the LTE model while the 3G versions of the device are seen with a quad-core processor that is clocked slightly higher at around 1.3 GHz.

LG K10 RAM
Both these processors are fast to run the latest version of Android since they are assisted by 2 GB of RAM depending on the model. The 2 GB of RAM is found only on the higher end LTE models, which are also equipped with 16 GB of storage.

LG K10 Camera
Recent launches from LG have been setting new standards when it comes to camera quality, and this is no different in the case of the LG K10, which has a 13-megapixel rear camera and an eight-megapixel front camera. Once again, differences, come about based on the models. The 13-megapixel rear camera is found only on the LTE phones whereas the normal 3G devices have to do only with an eight-megapixel camera. Similarly, the front camera is also diminished in the megapixel count at five.
The LG K10 comes with a fairly decent 2300 mAh battery. This battery size may struggle to deal with the 5.3-inch display on some occasions, but it should be sufficient for most. Prices of the LG K10 are expected to be very competitive especially with the Moto G doing very well.
