And now we hear, after Kohli’s match-winning knock yesterday against Pakistan, Anushka texted him. A source told, Bollywoodlife.com: “As soon as the winning runs were made, Anushka texted a congratulatory message to Virat wishing him on the win.” Whether Virat-Anushka do patch-up, this is a lesson for all celebrities on how to act after things go south. Whether the duo patch-up or not, one thing is clear that the heartburn hasn’t turned their relationship so sour that they would have to think twice before sending out good wishes.

In the past, Virat Kohli has been extremely cool about the entire break-up except once, when he lost it when asked about it at an event. When a journalist had the temerity to ask which Bollywood celebrity he would love to gift a watch, he said: “I would gift it to someone in my family first. I don’t know why that question. What’s the connect? It could be a cricket team member as well. Let’s stick to what we are here for rather than trying to swing things in the other direction.”

When asked another question about his relationship, Virat Kohli hit back: “Relationship with who? Anyone? I am not a relationship counsellor. So that’s not a question you should be asking me. Ask the expert please.”
