Vivo confirms Thailand pricing for “faster than faster” V3 and V3 Max smartphones
After weeks of rumours and promotional teasers, Vivo has confirmed
its new V3 Max smartphone is available now for 12,990 Baht with the Vivo
V3 costing 8,990 Baht when it is released in Thailand later this month.
The Chinese manufacturer has described the Vivo V3 and V3 Max as “faster than faster” and touts what the company says are premium features including, cutting edge technology, impressive looks and Hi-Fi quality sound.
The flagship Vivo V3 Max forms part of the company’s new ‘V’ series and was launched alongside the Vivo V3.
The Vivo V3 Max sports a metallic frame with 2.5D tempered glass on the front and an aluminium alloy coated cover on the back.
The phone includes 5.5 inch full HD display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 Octacore processor with a hefty 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded to 128GB via MicroSD.
In addition to the 8 MP front facing camera, the V3 Max comes equipped with a 13MP primary camera with dual LED flash with PDAF technology.
Vivo says the camera of the V3 Max is not only well equipped to take great shots but can be activated in just 0.7 seconds and can focus on an object in 0.2 seconds.
The Vivo V3 Max also includes a 3,000mAh battery which Vivo says will give you 2 hours of music playback after charging for just 5 minutes.
The final feature to follow the ‘faster than faster’ theme is the fingerprint scanner, which can identify your fingerprint from any angle to unlock your phone in 0.5 seconds.
Other features include Smart Split, which offers split screen multitasking similar to that on the Samsung’s Galaxy Note series, as well as high quality audio playback.
The Vivo V3, with its 5 inch display offers the same features, with slightly less specs. Instead of 4GB of RAM, there is 3GB and less powerful Qualcomm snapdragon 616 Octa-core processor. The dual sim V3 also includes a 2550mAh battery.
Both the Vivo V3 and V3 Max run Android Lollipop 5.1 with Vivo’s Funtouch OS 2.5 on top.
Stockists of the Vivo V3 Max and Vivo V3 include all Vivo brand shops, Jaymart, CSCI, Dtac and TG Fone.
