Trailer for Suriya's sci-fi thriller '24' packs a punch!

Fans will see Suriya in three avatars in the movie.

The trailer for 24, the film starring and produced by actor Suriya is finally here and it looks quite intriguing with elements of science-fiction, plenty of action and special effects as well as romance.

Suriya is seen in three avatars - as a scientist, a watch mechanic and a menacing villain. Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Nithya Menen play the female lead roles in the film.

The trailer gives a glimpse into the story, hinting that a watch that Suriya's character repairs, turns out to be a time travel device. The film's title indicates the number of hours in a day.

AR Rahman is the music composer of the film. At the audio release on Monday, Suriya had said, "After I heard the script, I stood up and clapped. If a movie is good, please make it a box office success, if is a movie is not good - even if it is my film - don't make it a success."

The sci-fi thriller which will see a simultaneous release in Tamil and Telugu, is directed and written by Vikram Kumar. The film is made under Suriya's home banner 2D Entertainment.
