In his latest Facebook post, MoS for Home Kiren Rijiju has claimed that Narendra Modi’s prime ministership had been predicted by French astrologer Nostradamus in 1555. “French prophet Nostradamus wrote that from 2014 to 2026, a man will lead India, whom initially, people will hate, but after that people will love him so much that he will be engaged in changing the country’s plight and direction. This was predicted in the year 1555. A middle aged superpower administrator will bring golden age not only in India but on the entire world. Under his leadership India will not only just become the global master, but many countries will also come into the shelter of India,” Rijiju wrote.

Gone missing

Kirti Azad was recently at a party hosted by fellow rebel BJP MP Shatrughan Sinha, where he was engrossed in conversation with other guests. So much so that he did even not notice that his wife, Poonam, had been missing from the scene for over 40 minutes. It so happened that Poonam accidentally got locked in the restroom. She had left her cellphone in her handbag, which was lying near the table where Azad was holding forth. Someone asked Azad about the unattended bag. He promptly took the bag and kept by his side, but did not realise his wife’s absence.

Keeping mum

With a hearing coming up in Delhi High Court Monday about a recently notified ban on 344 fixed drug combinations, there is unprecedented secrecy in the Health Ministry around the report of the Dr Kokate Committee report, based on which the notification was issued. The sole copy of the report is in the office of minister J P Nadda since there are fears that it may get into the hands of lawyers employed by the pharmaceutical industry who might want to see it before it is officially submitted to court. The ministry has already received four petitions from pharmaceutical companies, and 16 more are said to be on the way.

Did Nostradamus predict PM Modi’s rule? Kiren Rijiju thinks so!

Yes, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju is a vocal supporter of PM Narendra Modi. Whether it is the issue of President’s Rule in Arunachal Pradesh or Modi launching welfare schemes for the minorities, Rijiju has always had his senior colleague's back. But his latest Facebook post takes things to a new level altogether.

The junior home minister shared on his page that Modi’s ascendance to the post of prime minister after the 2014 Lok Sabha elections was inevitable – in fact, it had been predicted by Nostradamus way back in 1555! Not only that, but Modi will be in power till 2026.

He shared on his Facebook post titled Amazing Facts that Nostradamus had predicted in 1555 that between 2014 and 2026, India will be led by a man who will initially be hated but later loved and who will change “the country's plight and direction".

He then went on to quote Nostradamus: “A middle aged superpower administrator will bring golden age not only in India but on the entire world. Under his leadership India will not only just become the Global Master, but many countries will also come into the shelter of India".

Oh, so now we know why the PM has been globetrotting: it’s part of his predicted duty to be the ‘Global Master’. That’s why he met both the Queen and the leader of the free world (the US president, for the uninitiated) during his travels. Thank you minister Rijiju! As for the ‘golden age’ in India, guess we’ll have to still wait and see.

But that’s not all that Rijiju has shared on his post. He also wrote a series of numbers that goes like this:

In Current of Lok Sabha

BJP - 283 Seats 2+8+3 = 13
NDA - 337 Seats 3+3+7 = 13
UPA - 58 Seats 5+8 = 13
Others-148 Seats 1+4+8 = 13

He hasn’t really explained why he has shared those numbers but the only thing we could find amazing about these numbers is that they are impossible to be true. The Lok Sabha has only 545 seats in total. Add up Rijiju’s numbers and they amount to 826.

Rijiju told Hindustan Times that he got the information about the prediction from a translated version of Nostradamus’s works. Wonder where he got his seat numbers. Did he visit the same Lok Sabha website his colleague Arun Jaitley did?
