The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) is a commission for carrying out direct recruitment against Group-C posts in the State cadre. It will release the notification for various posts as and when there is a requirement. Like every year, it has released the notification for the recruitment of Junior Clerk (288 posts) and Junior Assistant (129 posts) and has invited applications from the eligible candidates. The candidates who are interested have applied for the posts and those who had applied have been waiting for the admit cards ever since.

The Preliminary written exam for the posts is scheduled to be held on 14th February 2016. The commission will be made available on the admit cards soon on the website and those who had applied can download the admit card from the official website or simply click the link provided below. It is advised to the candidates to download and take a printout of the admit card and carry it along with you to the examination hall as it is one of the mandatory documents to carry along.

The selection of candidates is based on their performance in prelims, mains, and interview. The candidates who clear the preliminary written exam will be called for the Mains exam. The candidates who clear the mains exam will be called for the interview and those who clear the interview will be absorbed into the respective posts.

The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) was set up by Govt. of Odisha as a statutory body in the year 1994 for carrying out direct recruitment against Group-C posts in the State cadre (as against District cadre) as may be scheduled in the OSSC Rules, 1993.
